Subject: RE: BS: Eagle Eggs Ready to Hatch--LIVE
I finally figured out how to tell Mom and Dad apart - Mom's bigger, has Big Hair and the beak looks like it's got a red spot on it. Now, the site looks like it went down. You think they had any idea they'd be attracting people from all over the globe? It's not like I don't have anything to do. This is me watching eagles:

Click
2 minutes later, I get a picture that freezes
2 minutes later, that hunk of grass/leaf in front of the nest moves 1/16th of an inch and it freezes
3 minutes later, I hear possible eagle noises, but can't tell because nothing's moving
1 minute later, I hit 'refresh'
3 minutes later, there's a different eagle on the nest. Possibly, it's still rocking/settling in on the eggs. Picture freezes.
4 minutes later, a dog barks and a feather moves minutely
Picture freezes

The funny think is, their forum's almost as slow. I have a dial-up, but I figure these generous people never knew how popular birds sitting on a nest in a really big tree were going to be.
