However, Kiveton Park Folk Club (Nr. Sheffield) is open EVERY Tuesday night without fail. Eight guests a year with singers nights between. We're mainly trad but you'll not get chucked out if you do a bit of contemporary stuff, the regulars are very accommodating and very encouraging. New folks welcome anytime, either to sing, play, or just listen. ALL perormers get a chance to do their bit. Theres a cheap bar, free tea and coffee for the non-imbibers, free grub in the beer break and a lovely atmosphere. A quid in the ashtray on singers nights and the entrance fee has never been over a fiver for guest nights. Past and future guests include the likes of Pete Coe, Brian Peters, Louis Killen, John Kirkpatrick, The H.L Ranters, Keith Kendrick, Napper/Bliss and Robin Laing.
