For those of us who could not get tickets to (or get on the bill for) next Sunday's Tom Dundee memorial/benefit concert at the Old Town School of Folk Music, there will be a less formal memorial show for Tom tomorrow (Sun) night, May 7, at his old stomping ground, Lily's, 2515 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago, starting at 6 pm. (As to the main event next week on the 14th, I have been advised that those who wished to play but could not be accommodated are invited onstage to join Jim Post in playing "Back on the Street Again" as the finale. Dunno whether we'll be able to get standing room tix for that purpose, though. The room sold out in less than an hour).
