I like the scene in Green Card when Georges (Gerard Depardieu (sp?)) plays the piano at a party. He sits for awhile, then suddenly starts banging the keys, then slows down and asks for translation, from the host, to a ballad in french, about saving the trees for the children. Funny scene.

A tear jerker for me was in Project-X with Matthew Broderick and Helen Hunt. The scene where they put the old chimpanzee into a test aircraft area, testing to see what happens to pilots after a nuclear explosion. You watch the old chimp start to die. If I remember right the chimp smoked cigarettes and he wanted a smoke. Anyway, very emotional part of the movie for me.
