It is just possible that someone in the Republican party has worked out that the name 'Bush' might just possibly be a slight electoral liability, roughly eqivilent to to having 'shot me now' tattoed across your forehead down a backstreet in Baghdad...

Of course, there has to be a credabile alternative canidate, or I could quite see him being chosed regardless.
