I love the Duncan Mcfarlane band acoustic or electric! They were fab at Holmfirth as the electric band, I really enjoyed a new song they did called Sheepstealer - is Duncan trying to tell us something of his murky past? I just wish they had a new cd for me to buy so I could take them all home with me! I took myself & a friend (who had not seen the acoustic band before) to see them on Saturday at the Courthouse in Otley - the 1st gig in a new series arranged by the lovely Nick Hall called 'Court in Session'. The audience had a great evening that was brought to a wonderful close by Duncan and the chaps (sorry Anne) who really threw themselves into their performance, with the aid of a few glasses of beer I suspect.

Now I'm looking forward to seeing them in Pannel on 3rd June and Masham Music Festival 16-18 June, I'm expecting to see both versions and Duncan solo over the weekend thanks to Mr Steve '3 festivals' Fairholme's expert organisational skills. I wonder if I'll get to take one of them home with me.........
