Here are the chords that I've worked up in the key of G (copy and paste into WORD/TIMES/12 to line up the chords):
Legal-Illegal
G------------D---------G It's illegal to rip off a payroll, ------C-------G----------D7 It's il-legal to hold up a train, --------C-----------G--C-G But it's legal to rip off a million or two, C--G---------------------D----G--D-----C That comes from the la-bour that other folk do, ---G--------C--G-----C--G--------D--G To plunder the many on behalf of the few, --C-G----C--G-C-G---D7-G Is a thing that is per-fect-ly legal.
I would note that you can probably skip some of the quick chord changes in the last two lines, which rock back and forth rather quickly. But this should be a start. It's a lot easier to do these quick changes on an autoharp which is what I used to use.
I used the same tune to a song of mine entitled "The Lord of the Mobile Home Manor" which you should be able to find somewhere in the Mudcat threads by searching for "mobile home manor".
