Subject: Problem with Eagle Cam?
So I admit I'm a bit addicted to the eaglets - most days I check in on them in the morning when I log in. This morning when I clicked on my shortcut http://www.infotecbusinesssystems.com/wildlife/default.asp, I got a page from DirectNIC.com, which I think is probably their web host - and it said "The Requested URL was not found on this server."

That worried me - I occasionally get "timed out" messages when the servers are busy, and occasionally "server not found" messages when they're working on things - but this sounds more as if the web hosting company had pulled the plug on them.

However, being a bit persistent, I called Hancock House (which is the eagle experts part of the project and which has an 800 number) and the woman who answered the phone said the site had been down earlier in the day, but was working now. She had refreshed her browser and you can see things moving, so it seems unlikely she's seeing an cached page. But that was over an hour ago, and I still can't get on to any parts of the Infotec site.

So my question for other eagle watchers is - can you get on? I know I have an active internet connection (I'm typing here) and I know our IS people haven't blocked us from streaming content as I can still see the Maine eagles. And I tried using the same link the woman at Hancock House used, in case something had been changed. Hancock House is (I think) in BC, as is Infotec - but if there's something preventing US users from contacting Canadian sites, I shouldn't have been able to get to Hancock House either (and I just went to a Canadian TV station site to be sure). Thoughts?

Thanks,
JudyB
