Looking at forthcoming and recent band-type guests booked at The Topic (Bradford) we have:

Entropy - a young 4-piece Otley-based band "likened to early Steeleye Span and Fairport Convention" whose debut CD is due out this year.

CrossCurrent a young 5-piece band made up of recent graduates of the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne folk and traditional music programme. Not much drum and bass, though.

The Queensberry Rules - 3-pieces "tipping a wink to folk, bluegrass, country and blues whilst wrapping it all up with a skiffle sensibility" with percussion, double-bass and guitar (and mandolin and harmonica).

The Durbervilles - 5-piece mixing "American roots, new country and cajun" but sounding thoroughly home-grown, according to one reviewer.
