I have the utmost admiration for the core group of people who have kept this sea music festival going the last few years. It's not an easy job, and I'm sure it's difficult managing the needs of all the many entertainers as well as their audience. The festival should be a money maker, do substantially better than a non-festival weekend. I'm not sure how well that bottom line is actually defined between the festival organizers and the museum administration but reaching or exceeding targets is what it takes to continue this wonderful festival.

I certainly would be willing to continue to be "A Friend of the Festival" if that will be helpful. Last year there were several categories:

Clipper-Individual $1000    Family-$2500
Packet-Individual $500       Family-$1000
Schooner-Individual $250    Family-$500
Dory-Up to $249

There were benefits associated with each category.
