From the bridge, follow the west-side harbour wall upriver to Scoresby monument (Tap&Spile opposite), strike inland passing the foot of Pannet Park to small roundabout, where there are direction signs.

Total for bridge to college is a bit over 0.5 miles (I would estimate) allow 15 mins if going uphill and not too unfit. A bit more if the pavements are busy.
