Since I wrote on May 26 as a Friend of the Festival the conversation has turned quite serious from the original discussions but I am very happy that the criticisms have been answered by some knowledgeable people and I feel better that there has been a forum for these issues.The only thing that I would add now is that the festival is not only a serious place to save sea music but rolicking good time. It is a place where I have made precious friendships with people I only see once a year but because we share the love of the music it is like a family reunion , come and save the music but above all come and have fun.
