Martin has steered you in the right direction towards Hughes's. If you're very keen on singing (no instruments) only, there is the Goilin Traditional Singers Club at the Trinity Pub on Pearce Street on Friday evenings. But don't go if you want to hear the flute and fiddle.

In the Temple Bar area, you might stop into the Claddagh record shop. Ask the fellow behind the counter about sessions. (Johnny Moynihan was involved in 2 when I was there last March.) He can point you in the right direction. Ask him to suggest a few new CDs too!
