There are some people, such as guest above, who will "make a deal." Then there are others who will inform youngsters that they will attend a concert even if they have to be dragged kicking & screaming. I have certainly experienced children kicking, screaming, & being dragged during performances.
Perhaps a better way would be to consistently take children to live Music, jams, & concerts from the time they are young. When they are old enough, get them involved in the playing.
