I often sing "The Old Man". See Effsee's list but it should be "the" rather than "my". It is in the DT. It was written by Phill Coulter after the death of the Furey Brothers' father, who was a respected fiddler in his own right. Finbar recorded the song with an amazing amount of emotion. I first heard him sing it in a concert and bought the tape from them the same night so I could learn it. It was also later recorded by John McDermott. A great song by both!
