Some folks may think that my reading & posting to banjo threads is my way of making up for my previous comments that they interpreted as insulting banjo music.

But my comments [on threads previous threads that you probably don't know anything about] focused on my dislike of the negative stereotypes that were associated with banjos and Black slaves....

Anyway...I'm now reading threads on banjos to learn about the instrument and the cultures of musicians that perform banjo music.

And what do I find? Interesting stories about real people, that's
what!

Thanks for helping to educate me [and others] about this culture.

I hope to "run into you" more in Mudcat threads!
