oh boy, do we remember the bagpiper! And I'm sure the piper never forgot us either!
I also remember Tom Lewis' first year when he came through with Wakey Wakey!

I tend to suspect that the attraction of the beer and good singing was pretty strong to keep folks at the YTB. Mike was in the YTB & was joined by me, Charley and Judy. Often the instrumentalists ended up there to be joined later by the ballad singers and finally the last of the pub singers. That didn't happen this year.

Since I was still fighting the effects of a cold, leading a shanty was not in the cards this time. But there's always next year.
