LOL if you look carefully it is Vllan not Villain. Many think I am a Villain, but I am not really :-)

This is an option, that may well be suitable for you, because of lack of transport and taking into account the safety aspect of travelling alone, if that is what you are doing.

This company has a fleet of coaches and hotels and will take you from wherever you are staying to your required destination by coach. It is all very well organised and safe.

Here is an example of a 5 day trip on the basis of travelling by their coach from London to Whitby and staying in their hotel. Couldn't get the link to work for this page so am posting it in its entirety.

Holiday Itinerary and Excursion(s)
Full Day exploring Yorkshire's Delights. We visit the historic market town of Pickering, known as 'Gateway to the Moors', then on to unspoilt Helmsley with its large cobbled market square. We later continue on to the charming village of Hutton-le-Hole.
Half Day visit to Scarborough, the oldest resort in the country and still as popular as it was in its Victorian heyday. Beneath the resort's prominent headland, with its castle ruins, there thrives a colourful fishing community, spa town and rather sophisticated holiday resort.
