My feeling is that a lot of dogs are idiots. I can only go by those I have known, mind you. I'd say that about half of them were idiotic in one sense or another. ;-)

The thing is, idiots are noticeable. They're more noticeable than reasonable people. This causes them to appear much more prevalent than they actually are. That's my theory.
