Sesiwn Fawr Dolgellau will be on the weekend of your Welsh visit - a long way from Cardiff but I'll be going (probably on the Saturday) and if you'd like to come I can get you there and back, and give you a bed as required. You'd see a good dollop of Wales in the process! Sesiwn's accoustic stage is worth the visit - the rest has gone WAY too 'pop' for my tastes.

Pity you aren't in Cardiff for a Monday night. That's the Welsh session at the Mochyn Du. The above suggestions are also spot-on. And Tabster's right: you MUST do St Fagan's, currently officially called the Welsh History Museum, or some such. I think Sorcha and Leadfingers enjoyed Castell Coch just up the valley from St F's too; hunting lodge of the family who expanded Cardiff Castle to it's current ... OK: glory.

If you're here in West Wales, do try to see some of the WELSH castles in the Towy Valley (around Llandeilo). Again, a bed can be made available...
