Sorry, we're having a rain event here today. From Friday morning until just before church on Sunday we had 2&aquarter inches. We are promised almost 3in. before dawn tomorrow (Wednesday). We are on the road between Austin & Houston(in Texas). This morning as I coaxed the dog out for her "constitutional" she gave me that look: "When will you creatures learn the wisdom of coming in out of the rain. I keep trying to point it out...." Gratefully, I tell you that, though 13 and nearly blind, and very slow of foot and leg, she seems to be persevering in teaching us--not ready to call it hopeless.
Do you suppose that's it? They've figured out that we're retar....um...intelligence challenged? and they're being patient with us, hoping for a breakthrough???         Tw
