As far as I understand it, Mid2Txt was designed to make it possible to post MIDI files to Mudcat which can then be reconverted to MIDI using the Txt2Mid program. One thing with the Mid2Txt is that it also provides an ABC conversion with the line breaks suitable for posting here and presumabl does not produce ABC with symbols that upset the Mudcat system.
