Ach now, McGrath, and I do apologise for 'jumping the gun' in my last post but one, but really, the point is not about weapons, whether plastic or metal.
Don't you see that the point is to get the rest of us talking about it in order to detract from the problem at hand.
The copy of the Good Friday agreement that I have definately mentions not a February 12 deadline but, and I quote

5. Both Governments will take all necessary steps to facilitate the decommissioning process to include bringing the relevant schemes into force by the end of June.

Let's keep things in perspective, and let's not start looking for scenarios that come straight out of a Stephen Segal movie.
