Thread Name: BS: Name That Mudcatter II

Also, when a question has been posted for "some" time, and no one has guessed the correct answer, or no one has posted any responses, it night be helpful if a clue is posted.

For instance: It's a fac that the the merry month of May and the blessed month of June have passed and no one has guessed the correct response to this question:

172. Which Mudcatter's name is the name of an American children's handclap rhyme and part of the name of an European wedding song?

****

So here's {some more} clues: This European wedding song is still sung now {at least a year or so ago I heard Seamus sing it when I attended a session he did in Pittsburgh. PA} and my mother or some one else taught me the handclap rhyme.

And this Mudcatter's name was listed on that "Mudcatter Met" thread {though I confess that I've not seen the name in many current threads}...

It seems to me that I've thrown out enough clues that someone with his or her thinking cap on-not to mention buckles down his or her back-should get this answer now.
