I repeat: try reading something other than the Washington Times--and stop listening to Rush's drivel. I heard him on just this topic last weekend--and somehow he managed to leave out the facts that the Republicans spent far more on the race--and that it was a Republican district to start with. But the Wall St Journal did not leave these factors out.

You've got to start broadening your reading a bit.

I make no excuses for her--her statement was stupid. She should have known an opponent will seize on something like that--and blow it up to colossal proportions. She should have been more careful.

But, even so the Republicans had to pull out all the stops. That's the point.



Now, regarding your "conservative" credentials.    You evidently don't mind pushing inflation through the roof, dramatically worsening the deficit, and employing Gestapo tactics--since all those will be results of your plan to round up the many (majority) of illegal immigrants who don't qualify for "hubby's amnesty".

Would you mind telling us why these aspects of your plan are good conservative attributes?
