oh yes, the archery range is rife with...errrr --way too much stuff. The major problem isn't what they are doing, it is what they are NOT doing while they are busy doing what they *are* doing (however "innocent" that may be....)

Because they are *suppossed* to be working - not gazing soulfully into each others eyes; or giving their girlfriend/boyfriend a back rub, or feeding each other bites of ice cream, or ....

and unfortunately for them - that means they have to

a) be looking at the customers

b) be paying attention to the customers

c) be semi-conscious.

I don't insist on full consciousness, I'm not a slave driver. I do insist that they be at least partially aware of what is going on around them. and their glands do occasionally interfere with that. So by calling hand checks - they get jerked back into the reality of the situation - primarily - yes, I do know what they are doing, they are *NOT* "getting away" with anything, and they are dead meat if I have to talk to ANY of their parents.
