Saturday afternoon Gordon called to tell me that a tropical depression was on its way. Wakana and I raced around in the deepening dark and rain getting the canopy down and putting away the junk that seems to expand beyond out outdoor closet. Today I had my class with Ji-Young and got the story on her hiking trip. She told me it was hard. She'd had the wrong shoes and got soaked by the rain.
