It's a genetic thing.. you can't help doing it... I once vowed that if I ever had children, I'd never say 'you'll do yourself a mischief with that', 'because I say so', 'eat your crusts, it'll make your hair curl', 'you'll have someone's eye out with that', 'you break your leg, don't come running to me' and other such motherly sayings...
