The official report was that we got a "cold snap" yesterday. The day before, we had a high of 97 F (36.1 C) but yesterday it only got to 88 F (31.1 C) for a high temp (the "official weatherman" said). Personally I couldn't tell much difference, since the 97 F was accompanied by 82% RH, but the 88 F was at 95+% RH. Wind chill wasn't doing much for us either day.

It seems to be a little later cooling off this year, but we probably can expect a fairly rapid drop over the next couple of weeks. Quite likely we'll have localized heavy rain, widely scattered hail, and our usual fairly brief period of autumn tornado hits until sometime near the end of September or beginning of October.
