There are two rental houses near me owned by a guy named Truogh. He is a real jerk. One day, a couple of his renters piled bags of trash on the curb and moved out. I called his office, and the lazy secretary said I couldn't even prove they owned that house.

(She probably didn't even know that anyone here can call the city and find out who owns a certain property.)

When I got motivated enough, I made signs saying "See the Truogh Trash! Three months old today!" and put them up on the main road. The trash was gone almost immediately.
