Back to the claim - It should be able to test the hypothesis by bringing in 'foreign' cows to the herd and observing whether they understand each other.

If I purchase a five-year-old dog from Spain and it is shipped to me in Alaska, will it be able to understand my commands? Will I be able to understand its responses?
