(e.g.) "Malcolm Douglas has requested one of my spare posts in order to join the 'First 100' club. I am happy with this and would like a seconder. Is anyone willing to second that the afore mentioned Malcolm Douglas be admitted to the 'First 100' club?"

Just to prevent any misunderstanding, the Mudcat Malcolm Douglas has not (as yet) requested to join the 'First 100' club and the Malcolm Douglas that I am referring to here is, in fact, a fictitious character created by myself in order to illustrate the example. Indeed the 'First 100'club as a name is only an example of what the elite 100 members may want to refer to themselves as.
