Why do you think it was nasty? Some people are rather obviously having difficulty thinking the entire problem through. It is a complex problem - if not there would already have been a solution. *Shrug*

I do think it takes balls to give advice without thinking over the situation at all, or to talk down to people as if they aren't thinking or trying different tactics about their own situation. (Now that, you may take as nasty, if you wish. Or you may take it as an opinion, if you wish. It's up to you.)

I'm quite sure that some of the people who are posting advice without thinking things through are trying to help, rather than just trying to give advice. And help is definitely appreciated. I figured that clarification was needed.
