Selene - I've been looking for "inspirational" Celtic folk songs and have come up with a few. "Come by the Hills" is in the DT, its tune is traditional but I don't know if the words were around in the 1800s. Maybe someone else in the gang can help with that. I also just found a good English translation of "Caide Sin don te Sin", a traditional song whose message is that people should be able to live their lives in peace. The first verse is:I went to the market and traded my cow
For five pounds of money and a gold guinea coin
If I drink all the money and the gold I give away
Since it's no-one's concern, then no-one should careIf that sounds appropriate let me know and I'll post the other three verses.
