Oh - are we talking about a bunch of made up "Collective Nouns". I am firmly of the opinion that 99% of collective nouns for animals or birds ae purely invented as Quiz Answers. They even come up with names for groups of fiercely territorial solitary animals - the ones where they will attack any intruder unless it is for the purpose of mating.
You may infer that I am not a fan of such "collectives" but I will do my best to help out.
How about :-
An absence of bodhran players.
A disappearance of melodeons.
A silence of whistles.
An unbowing of fiddles.
A peacefulness of nights out...
