Just for the recoed, Freeport is less than 1 1/2 hours from Portsmouth (20 minutes from Portland)
And remember, LL Bean's is open 24 hours- you can do your shopping after the show!
Seriously, It's not any more of a hardship to drive north, esp on the turnpike and definitely a show worth driving for!.try it and see!
