Check Back in the Saddle Again. New World NW 314/315-2. A double CD of authentic cowboy singers with a few dudes mixed in.

Somebody also mentioned Cowboy Songs, Ballads & Cattle Calls from Texas. Library of Congress LP AAFS L28. This has been reissued on Rounder ROUN1512, and is about as raw and authentic as they come.
