President Bush individually and alone signed the marching orders that brought about thousands of -- perhaps hundreds of thousands -- of violent deaths and maimings. Giving the orders IS a point of complete responsibility. Just because he was safe in the Oval Orifice and did not have to fire rockets, drop bombs, or shoot a rufle personally does not change the trail of direct causation.

And, I might stress, he did it with full intention, complete lack of remorse, and no sense of consequences, which are symptoms one finds in many criminals.
