With regard to Sharp's Folk Club evening, October 3rd, does anyone know who is acting as host/hostess that evening? I've received no response from the website contact person, which doesn't greatly surprise or dismay me.

I'm also interested in what Mudcatters might be attending that evening. It's always more fun singing when you have some clue of the people you're singing to or with.

With regard to our book hunting foray at Hay-on-Way, it looks as if we've picked the date when the annual "horse sale" is happening and all the lodging space in town has been booked weeks in advance. However, I'm sure they'll let us sleep under the bar if we ask nicely.
