The outlook wasn't brilliant for the Mudville nine that day...
But, come on, Mick. Look closely at the faces of the guys in the A's uniforms. Those aren't the A's. Clearly some bunch of bums stole the A's uniforms from air freight and took the field. No doubt the real A's are in an alley somewhere in their skivvies, freezing their goodies off, wishing they were playing baseball.
