Llanfair - I have a question about the word "chippy". I am not at all familiar with Welsh colloquialisms, but I presume your use of the word "chippy" refers to a dining establishment specializing in fish & chips. I recall as a kid in the American mid-west hearing the old ladies use that word to describe a young woman whom they presumed to be of loose morals. Since we're talking about Max visiting your side of the pond, possibly to see your "great chippy round the corner", I thought we might clarify the term, just in case Max's mom might be following this thread. :>)!
