Just a thought... probably teaching granny to suck eggs, but worth mentioning...

Be careful mounting a torroidal transformer in a 1U box - the mounting screw mustn't make contact with both the top and bottom of the box (assuming it's metal), or you'll end up with a 'shorted turn'... bad news! Things get very hot!
