DannyC - I don't think you'll find any musical Hammons' left alive in Pocahontas County, WV. I know Maggie, Burl, Sherman, Edden and Lee have all left us, which is a great pity - these people were the real thing and had a large repertoire of songs, fiddle tunes, banjo tunes and stories, many of which were collected and recorded by Dwight Diller. Dwight has just released a book of tabs, with the assistance of some of his banjo students, with a fine collection of his photographs of the Hammons'. It's available from
