I helped some friends do a big neighborhood party in Kensington, Md.
These folks go seriously nuts about their Halloween. Everybody on the street starts planning how they will decorate their houses about 3 months before. They have smoke machines, theatrical effects projectors, big sound systems. They use hundreds of yards of spider webby strands, huge slabs of cardboard to make backdrops.
The house I was at had a "dead pirate" theme. I know this will be a great shock to those who know me. They had underwater lights and kelp and fish swimming in the living room window. A frind of mine was standing at the window..."underwater" drinking a beer, in a full length, big eared bunny suit. A small child was talking to one of us Pyrates outside and said,"There's a Bunny in the window...and he's drinking a BEER"!
She replied,"That's because he's a baaaaad bunny".
They had about 2,000 visitors in three hours. A good time was had by most.
