A long time ago (in another galaxy) I used to like to perform songs that shared a theme, but used vastly different styles. ie:

Infidelity (Gypsy Davy, Westport)

Heroism (John Henry, Lucky Lindy)

I always thought that the combinations were fun. But what do I know?
