There was a realy weird self-sanitising bog seat in a cafe in Barnard Castle. In fact the toilets themselves were a bit odd - reached via a spiral staircase - but the seat gave a little squirt of some sort of disinfectant as you rose. Trouble is if you were not quite quick enough it got you on the bum!
