It occurs to me that for foreigners, the spelling of hymn is decidedly strange. I mean, "y" for a vowel? And "mn" - what is that all about? People could waste time trying to spell it.

My sister-in-law teaches English as a foreign language, and she has pointed out that many other tongues do not pile up consonants the way we do. Thus the "mnch" in the middle of hymnchat is problematic.

The online thesaurus suggests "worship song" as an synonym for hymn (say that five times).

I change my vote to "Songs for Worship."
