I worked in the Trinity Arts Centre in Gainsborough and the Gainsborough Folk Club booked a room to celebrate on Millennium Eve.The Arts Centre is in an old church and is said to be haunted. As I was setting up the Bar, a glass flew from the middle of the tray I was carrying and smashed on the floor. None of the other glasses moved.

I just said, "OK, you've had your fun" and was very glad when the others turned up!.


And to think that we'd all been getting wound up that the computers, fire alarms and other such stuff was going to throw a wobbly at midnight.
