They do this kind of thing quite a lot in South Africa - farms where "wild animals" are bred so that tourist killers from abroad - mostly the USA, I'm afraid - can come and shoot them for a price.

Of course it's not that different from the way "sportsmen" in the UK shoot gamebirds who have been reared form the purpose of being released and shot.
