"'ere. We in the UK owed him so much. Maggie Thatcher said so."

In fact fat B****rd, she was right, due to the assistance and co-operation received during the Falklands War, Pinochet directly saved the lives of many British Servicemen. Now if it is alright to accept the help of a real butcher like Stalin (in terms of numbers he made Hitler look like a Boy Scout) in time of need, then without wishing to point out the obvious - the precedent has already been set - live with it.

"I myself am glad that the old bastard is dead.

now all we need is Maggie Thatcher to die and I truely rejoyce"

Aye Tom, but then you didn't serve down in the Falklands, you had no kin at risk in that conflict. No doubt at all subsequent elections you did your Scottish best and voted either SNP or Labour in the national elections - for what Tom? All of those policies of Maggie's that actually pulled our country out of the shit - your Labour Government's have not recinded/reversed a single one, in fact the erstwhile future leader of the Labour Party and our next unelected Prime Minister, Gordon Brown has had a fine time taking credit for what Maggie Thatcher did for for the economy and wealth of the British Isles. Don't feel so bad, or bitter about it Tam - almost every country in Europe has followed her example and prospered because of it.
